Position Description    
• Establishes and manages tool specific software libraries as required.
• Assembles configured software on designated hardware platforms/media for delivery to customers in
accordance with documented procedures.
• Performs and documents software builds to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines.
• Executes release and change control functions using the designated software configuration
management system/tools and in accordance with the established Configuration Management processes
and standards in order to ensure software product integrity and meet program schedules.
• Generates and maintains all necessary program software development, release, and change records,
including "as built" and status accounting records.
• Performs software configuration management Configuration Control Board activities which include, but
are not limited to, establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and
maintaining action items lists.  

Skills Required    
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong, writing, planning, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Candidate will be
expected to learn and apply specific Software Configuration Management tools and skills such as
Rational Clearcase/Clearquest and GIT.
• Candidate will be required to apply for and attain a Government Security Clearance to the Secret Level.
• Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast moving, environment.
• Candidate must have excellent organizational skills. Candidate will be evaluated based upon work
accuracy, punctuality to assigned tasks and ability to work within a team environment.

Skills Preferred    
- ClearCase and GIT experience
- General knowledge of CM and industry standards such as GEIA-HB-649
- Experience with control of FPGA Firmware  

Experience Required    
Experience in Software CM, Software Build/Release Engineering  

Experience in controlling Test environments. Experience in training and working with Engineering in
understanding CM processes.

Education Required    
Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems or other technical field. Will consider Associates degree
accompanied with years of direct SCM experience.

Education Preferred    
Bachelor's degree.

Additional Information    
This candidate will be responsible for enforcing CM policy for Test SW and must have the ability to work
well with others possibly outside of the Engineering realm.
